North to South Walk · 22 October 2010
On October 22nd 2010, MT's from West Midlands Commercial will be
walking 25 miles starting in Walsall ending in Solihull visiting
commercial centres along the way and taking donations for Birmingham
Children’s Hospital.
Every year, over 225,000 sick children from across the UK are treated at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Many face incredibly difficult circumstances. Their stories of courage, determination and hope are truly amazing.
Birmingham Children’s Hospital treats some of the sickest children in the country. They rely on legacies and charitable donations to fund additional facilities, equipment, and medical research, and to provide the extras that make being in hospital a better experience for young patients.
We cannot do this without your help. By supporting Birmingham Children’s Hospital you will be making a real difference to the lives of thousands of children and families, when they need it most.
Over the next 7 years the hosiptal needs to raise £150 million to create a world class children’s hospital, capable of delivering 21st century medicine in a spacious, modern and child friendly environment. They also need to purchase state of the art medical equipment and fund research into the prevention and treatment of childhood illnesses.
