Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Challenge - Since my 1st Marathon in 2010 to my 3rd in 2013 something stupid happens in my head where an emotional pull convinces me to put my body through unbelievable hell by running 26.2 miles.

I have decided to do my best to raise awareness and much needed funds for Chest Heart & Stroke SCOTLAND by taking part in several running challenges over the coming year including the Great Scottish Run half Marathon October 2015 and London Marathon 2016 .

There will be plenty updates on this page on the events i will/have been taking part in.

REASON - Over the years I have watched and lost my Granny Underwood and my wife Donna's Granda Brown.     I am now watching my Dad as he recovers from having a STROKE.

Stroke a preventable and treatable disease, and improving the quality of life for people affected by stroke.

Every day 100,000 people in Scotland struggle to breathe due to chronic chest illness. Every 22 minutes someone in Scotland will have a heart attack or stroke. Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland supports people living with these conditions in Scotland through research, advice, support and action.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
