Story

The Fellowship of The Peaks

Welcome to our Just Giving Page! - Don't forget to check out our photos!

We are taking on the 3 Peaks Challenge to raise funds for a charity that is close to all of our hearts the Motor Neurone Disease Association.  (http://www.mndassociation.org/ )

A loved colleague of ours Miche Broad, suffers from Motor Neurone Disease and is a great supporter of this inspirational charity.

The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks, respectively, in Scotland, England and Wales, within 24 hours. The Peaks are:

All of us are novices in the mountain climbing world and are usually found wandering golf courses but we are all excited and slightly nervous about challenge.

At this stage we are all somewhat behind on our advised ‘16 week training programme’ - our collective training probably wouldn’t amount to much more than a Sunday stroll in the park -  but this has not dampened spirits as talk of head torches, walking poles & zip-off pants have perhaps clouded our judgement.

We would appreciate any support you could give, whether it be just £5 (just think - thats less than beers for 2!) or your well-earned millions, every penny counts.

We only have 4 weeks to go so time is tight.  Please support us and the MND Association.

Thank you very much!
