Story

Craig Duffy: 1962 – 2021

Matthew and Marcus have asked that instead of flowers, donations are made to Tonic Music for Mental Health, a favourite of Craig’s.

Craig and his partner Sue Parmiter were driving back from treatment for Craig’s recently diagnosed throat cancer, when they were in a car accident and died at the scene on  21 May 2021.

From the beginning, Craig was a music fan and his love of music - especially The Clash - is well known by his many friends.

Nominated 3 times, he won the TPI Tour manager of the year in 2011.

As a tour manager, Craig spent over 30 years travelling the world with the most amazing artists, including Franz Ferdinand, Blur, Duran Duran, Russell Watson, The Good The Bad and The Queen, Monkey, Madness, Robyn, Gorillaz, Tool, Natasha Bedingfield, Lily Allen, Live 8, The Pogues, Air, Band Aid 20, PJ Harvey, Fat Les, Graham Coxon, Radiohead, Simon Day, Nicky Campbell, Stroke, Right Said Fred, Comfort, Shamen, Lewis Taylor, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fugees, Beverly Night, Damned, Jenny Eclair, Shampoo, Christians, Chippendales, Chapterhouse, Rollins Band, John Curd and so many bands from U2 to Ramones, Sex Gang Children, Ian Dury and many more.

No matter how busy, Craig always had time for everyone. He was a father, a friend, a gentleman, caring and considerate and of course, a Chelsea supporter. This accident has come as such a shock, he will be greatly missed not only by his family and friends and those who worked with him but also by the many, many who knew him,  all over the world.
