On the 12th August 2019 our family's world was turned upside down when we had a knock on the door to say our dad had been killed in a road collision whilst riding his motorbike to work. No one can prepare you for the devastation it brings and the hole that has been left. From what we know, dad was killed instantly however if this was not the case and his injuries were life changing The Bike Experience is a charity we would have approached as they give bike riders with life changing injuries opportunities to ride a bike once more. The charity adapt conventional motorbikes in order to do this and the trustee, Talan set up this charity because he himself had a RTC and he was paralysed from the neck down. Talan couldn't cope with the prospect of never riding a motorbike again so he established this charity which was founded in 2011 and has been supporting people with the passion of riding ever since. 

We feel The Bike Experience is worthy of your donations in our dad's memory because if dad had survived the collision and for any reason was unable to get back on his bike this charity could have been a life line for him. We know that if dad was told he'd never be able to ride again it would have broken his heart. His love of motorbikes was second to his family.
