Thank you so so much to everyone who has donated! An unbelievable amount of money has been raised which will undoubtedly help others.

Our Dad Ian P, was diagnosed with secondary liver cancer in November 2012 and despite a brave battle, tragically passed away on 21 January 2013. His last days were spent in comfort surrounded by his loving girls and devoted wife Susan.

Through this impossibly difficult time, the staff and nurses working at the Rosemere Cancer Unit at Royal Preston Hospital provided invaluable support, advice and a shoulder to cry on. A special mention being given to Julie Kenyon whose kind words and determination had such a positive impact on our family during the short time we were in contact.

Although our dad is now gone, we want to honour his memory by ensuring the fantastic support provided by the Rosemere Cancer Unit can continue to bring some measure of comfort to other families in this situation in the future.

He was an amazing man; kind, devoted to his family and incredibly hard working. He remained lionhearted throughout his illness and has much to be proud of. Those who would like to share their memories of him and make a donation (however small) to this worthy cause are warmly invited to do so.

We love you and we'll miss you Dad,
