In memory of Thomas Lange

Thomas was diagnosed as being HIV+ve in 1985 and thought his life would soon be over. How wrong he was. He managed to cram a lifetime of experiences into the next 30+ years. Sadly, these ended far too soon.
From his initial HIV diagnosis in 1985 he was able to live a pretty normal life like any non-HIV+ person for 20 years. Until 2005 when things drastically changed and he became seriously ill whilst being posted to the U.S.A at the Willard Inter-Continental Hotel.
It was upon his return to London that Thomas experienced the wonderful work of the Terrence Higgins Trust. He received his first counselling session with a qualified Therapist in 2007 through the Trust and could finally open up to someone and speak about his HIV. The support they offered him was life changing.
The trust is funded purely by donations and we know that Thomas would be honoured if we could all continue his support of this wonderful charity even after his death.
