Story

Inspired by Issie

We recently lost our wonderful friend, sister and fellow horse rider Issie Mogg. Issie was really one in a million - a superb athlete, an excellent student and an amazing friend to so many people. Issie had already earned her place to study medicine at Oxford, where she was excelling. Her death has robbed us of someone who gave so much love and happiness, and someone who would have gone on to achieve great things in the future, undoubtedly saving lives being among them.

One of Issie's favourite activities was horse riding, so a group of us from Triley Fields Equestrian Centre, where Issie had been riding since she was 4, have teamed up to raise money in her memory. We have all been inspired by Issie's belief that she really could do it all, so what better way to fund-raise than by taking part in a run filled with obstacles and mud - something that Issie would have loved to do. We have opted for the 10k route, and as none of us are natural athletes(!), we are sure this is going to pose a suitable challenge!

The charity we will be fundraising for is the British Heart Foundation, who are currently funding research into sudden death in adults.

Please dig deep for this very important cause and support us as we remember the exceptional Issie. Your donation will help to save lives in the future.

Thank you so much!
