Story

On 13 August 2008, International Rescue Committee staff members Mohammad Aimal, Shirley Case, Nicole Dial and Jackie Kirk died in the line of duty in Logar Province, Afghanistan, as their clearly-marked IRC vehicle came under heavy gunfire. In response to requests from their friends and colleagues, the International Rescue Committee has established a special fund to honour their memory.

If you would like to make a gift to the fund, you can do so here (by clicking Donate Now, above) or you can mail your donation to: International Rescue Committee, 11 Gower Street, London, WC1E 6HB or call +44 (0)20 7692 0405. Contributions will be dedicated to programmes that help protect and educate children affected by conflict, oppression, or natural disaster.
