Story
In September 2013 I was convinced that doing an Ironman (IM) would be a good idea. I started thinking about it and then I decided not to think about it too much. I had the feeling that if anyone thinks too much about whether or not to do an IM no one will ever do one. Needless to say the guy who convinced me didn't sign up, but to be fair he has done one before.
Cancer Research has given me a place on the Outlaw Triathlon 2014 which is a Full Ironman distance Triathlon:
Swim - 2.4 miles (3.86km)
Cycle - 112 miles (180km)
Run - 26.2 miles (42km)
Brag for the rest of your life ;)
As if that isnt enough to get you donating, I am also doing 3 Olympic Distance Triathlons and a Half IM Triathlon. in total thats 5 events; 10.3km Swimming; 390km Cycling; 93km Running!!!!!
I hope you all agree that this is going to be one hell of a challenge and certainly the IM will be the most taxing thing I will have ever put my body through in one day (we can expect it to take in the region of 12-14 hours).
I, and many others, would appreciate any donation you can give. It funds work that literally saves lives.
