Firstly, thank you for visiting this fundraising page, please read on whilst I try and justify you separating with a few of your hard earned pennies!

In November I am partaking in an Ironman event in Florida. This involves swimming 2.4 miles in the sea, cycling 112 miles then running a marathon... As you might expect I have a little training to do, involving:

The London Marathon - April 25th

Completed in 3 hours 7 minutes...!!

Bala Half Ironman - June 11th

Completed in 4 hours 39 minutes...!!

Blithfield Olympic Distance Triathlon

2 hours 7 minutes – Qualified for GBR fast for age team...!!

The Helvellyn Triathlon - September 5^th

Completed in 4 hours 1 minute - 14th / 700

Weymouth Half Ironman – September 26^th

Completed in 5 hours 25 minutes - 5th / 250

Cardiff Half Marathon – October 17^th

I'm raising money for Cancer Research UK which is the worlds leading cancer charity. Cancer has touched my family's lives in several guises. Sadly sufficient technology wasn't around for many, but fortunately it is now and I wish my mum a speedy recovery. Treatment of cancer remains a crude process and Cancer Research invests in researching new techniques to prevent and treat the disease:

·         Cancer Research UK has been at the heart of the progress that has seen survival rates for cancer double in the last 30 years.

·         But too many lives are still devastated by cancer. It's vital that the work, funded entirely by the public, continues.
