Fifteen of Bristol's university sports clubs are each undertaking a 10-hour athletic challenge on the 7th March to raise money and awareness for a local charity called Above and Beyond. We are hoping to raise funds and awareness for their ‘Golden Gift Appeal’, which is working to go ‘above and beyond’ what the NHS can provide to two of the largest hospitals in Bristol – the BRI and the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre. The work they are doing is outstanding and we are excited to be a part of the fundamental and invaluable differences that they are making.

As part of the University of Bristol Lacrosse Club, I will be helping my team spin to Paris (not actually Paris...) and back in 10 hours. I would be incredibly grateful for any donation or support, no matter how small, it can make a huge difference in helping Above and Beyond continue their exceptional work.

I will let you know how I do/feel after my 10 hours, I have no doubt i'll feel horrendous...but all for charity!
