Hi my name's Michele and for those of you that don't know me, I am a mouth cancer SURVIVOR.

Well I'm actually many other things first, but it's because I'm a mouth cancer survivor that you find me here.

I didn't really want to write my name in a sentance like the one above, not because I'm not proud and well let's face it ~ lucky to still be alive, but because cancer is quite honestly in the word's of my dearly departed friend Lisa Lynch, ~ 'Bullsh*t' capital B. Trust me on this one.

When I first heard about the Mouth Cancer Foundation walk I couldn't take part because I was too sick ~ with mouth cancer.

But since kicking cancer's ass it has become one of my yearly delights to raise money along with friends for the Mouth Cancer Foundation.

Mouth cancer is becoming more recognised much due to the foundation's efforts which is a good thing because 51% of people with mouth cancer do NOT survive.

I myself suffered a painful tumour that took 6 years to be diagnosed and nearly killed me.

Since recovering I am back working as an actress and yoga teacher and am in the midst of developing The PinUp Gals Project, aimed at empowering cancer Survivors.
