Just a couple of days to go now. No more training. Just need to get to the start in time. I have run 30 miles a week for the last four months so hopefully it will be enough. I know what to wear because I have been trying it out to make sure it does not rub, give me blisters or clash with the red of my face. I have been given so much advice on what to carry: jelly babies, energy gells,banana, hot cross bun!!. Its not a picnic not even a walk in the park. Someone even suggested i strap the banana to my arm. You can strap some strange things to yourself, but I do not think a banana to my arm is a good idea. Gareth has had to withdraw after the accident on his bike, get well soon Gareth, you have many more years to have another go. Thanks to you all for your support and sponsorship, it is really appreciated. I hope to raise the £500 but hate asking for money as I know its really tight for everyone these days. The Alzheimer Society really need our help and there is only going to be more people needing their support advice and research for a cure.This is why I am running 26 miles.
