On Saturday 17th July I walked 50k from Wantage to the Avebury Stones in Wiltshire - a beautiful but very long (!) walk. I embarked on this with some friends following some training and have been meaning to set up my charity page since deciding to do it in May. So here it is - after the event admittedly but at least you know I completed it!

I have decided to donate any monies raised to the Fashion and Textiles Children's Trust which is a small charity with a long history of supporting families in the UK fashion and textile industry. Founded in 1850 by a group of philanthropic textile merchants the FTCT supports children of those in the trade who are coping with significant health, emotional, social or family difficulties. By giving grants to meet their education and wellbeing needs, the FTCT aims to give them the best opportunity to thrive.
