Great North Run 2015 · 13 September 2015 ·

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Earlier this year my Uncle Phil sadly passed away. He was a true gentleman with a passion for sport.

Therefore, I have decided to take part in this years Great North Run as a form of tribute to him. I have never taken part in a long distance race before but it seemed like a fitting opportunity to raise awareness and money to help others affected by Leukaemia.

Thanks,

Jake
