Happy 2023 everyone!

This year I'm setting myself the challenge of completing a marathon on a new continent along the roads of Sydney in Australia in September. Due to injury my aim is simply to complete it...whilst soaking up the sights, sounds and pain! 

* UPDATE*

Unfortunately due to illness (which start the night before the marathon) I wasn't able to the Sydney Marathon, so with the help of my work colleagues I climbed Pendle Hill in Lancashire.

I'm raising money for Lionheart who as many are aware helped me (and Fred my dog!) during the recession of 2008. As we enter into another recession in 2023/2024 I'm conscious there will be other people that will need that help right now and we can all support them via a donation.
