Story

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.

On 3rd October I am going to attempt to heave myself for 26.2 kilometres around the outskirts of Edinburgh, taking in such magificent landmarks as the Forth Road Bridge, the M9 and Edinburgh Airport: http://www.kilomathon.com/?scot_route

As you can imagine for someone of my girth and fitness level, this is set to be a  considerable challenge, and if you felt like making a charitable donation in a gesture of solidarity, I would appreciate it enormously.  I am hoping to raise some money for Encompass, a charity set up by the family of my friend Dan Braden, who was killed in the 2002 Bali bombing: http://encompasstrust.org/

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
