The Thames Sailing Barge Trust aims to preserve in full working order at least one Thames sailing barge and give opportunities to the public to participate in sailing, social and maintenance activities. Currently it owns Pudge and Centaur, the former being a Dunkirk little ship that is undergoing major restoration to ensure future preservation.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Five of us are rowing in the Great River Race to raise money for the Thames Sailing Barge Trust. We have borrowed a boat and will be making a few modifications to it before the race.

The Thames Sailing Barge Trust is a charity in need of substantial donations to complete the re-build of sailing barge Pudge. Having already rebuilt Centaur over a period of 20 years the trust has a good record but it needs more money to complete Pudge
