Story
In 2019 I was hospitalised with Kidney Problems (Minimal Change Disease & Nephrotic Syndrome) and balloned 30kg in weight and was extremely ill.
Dorchester County Hospitals Renal Department were simply amazing with me and the brillant staff looked after me through a Kidney biopsy operation and the medications and treatments to help me recover.
The aftercare and support was also second to none, and I am now off all the medications. I want to give something back.
I have had a really long and slow recovery process, but I now think I can take on another Half Marathon at a competitive pace. so . . .
In April 2023, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon.
Before this I had been a strong marathon runner completing London 2018 in just over 4hrs.
Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can, it really will make a massive difference.
