Sugar is sleeping 'Ruff' for the night to raise money for The West London Mission, who despite struggling to pay for their existing programs, have offered The Trusty Paws Clinic space to set up a pop up clinic supporting the dogs of the homeless community in London. Sugar the Italian Spinone is one of the sweetest gentle dogs you could ever meet. If she was a human, we have no doubt she would still be supporting this cause.
Sugar will be spending a night out on the streets with her dog walker and other participants to raise funds for TWLM and to raise awareness about the homeless with dogs.
Why is Sugar helping out?
Because Sugar knows the dogs who accompany the homeless are unspoken heroes. They are companions, guardians and often the catalyst for getting their owners off the streets. The loyalty and unconditional love they offer under tough circumstances is both moving and inspiring.
