I'm running the marathon for Merlin. Even though I no longer work for them, I still believe that the work they do is valuable - saving lives in trouble spots and "forgotten" places around the world. Working for them changed my life and I know first hand how important the funds raised through events such as the marathon are for Merlin.

To give you an idea - some people have sponsored me 50 pounds, others 10 pounds, and some sponsor an amount per mile e.g. 1 or 2 pounds. Any amount will be gratefully received.

If you are an overseas friend, sponsoring me this way means no banktransfers or trying to exhange foreign currency (and no escape from sponsoring me by being overseas either!)

Thank you so much for taking the time to log on, and for sponsoring me. However painful sponsoring me might be, the 5 times a week training is probably hurting me more!! So far I have done training runs in the UK, Amsterdam, Croatia, Bangladesh, Ghana, Sierra Leone and Nigeria...
