Hello folks. After two failed attempts it is third time lucky for a place on the Flora London Marathon. I have decided to run the marathon for Maggie's Cancer Care Centres as this was a charity I heard a lot about last year through my good friend Hillary Tawse. Jennifer, Hill's younger sister, was diagnosed with cancer of the mouth last year and had to undergo a major operation and a lengthy period of radiotherapy. It was great news that Jen was given the all clear just before Christmas and is now well on the road to recovery. I know that Jen, Hillary and the rest of the Tawse clan could not sing the praises highly enough of the Maggies team and the services they provided. So raising this cash is a thank you to them, especially the centre at Edinburgh's Western General Hospital for looking after Jen and her family. Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
