On March 30th 2012 I was diagnosed with non Hodgkins Lymphoma. Through the extraordinary care and dedication of the team overseeing my treatment and recovery at the Royal Marsden, I am now fit and healthy again. I will stay under the care of the Marsden for the rest of my life but I know I am in very safe hands and I can never re-pay the debt I owe them all for giving me my life back. I also learnt how much the support of my family and friends meant during my treatment, without them I wouldnt have had the strength to survive the gruelling months of chemo, scans, blood tests and difficult news updates from doctors. The Royal Marsden is doing some extraordinary work to save lives and support cancer families. Even 5 years ago my prognosis and the drugs I was given wouldnt have been available. So please give all that you can to ensure that others like me can be put into complete remission and the dedicated research and medical work of the Marsden can continue to flourish.
