We raise awareness and help fund research to improve the lives of people with APS

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Jan was taken from his children, family and friends too soon because of an underlying condition called Hughes syndrome causing his blood to clot.

Jan took blood thinning drugs from the age of 14, had regular blood tests and suffered with thrombosis and ulcers in his legs throughout his life. He never fussed or complained about all the pain and medical problems he had to deal with over the years...He just got on with it and used his sense of humour to deal with all that was thrown at him.. I only recently found out the name of the condition he had.

It was a clot to a main artery that caused his death, caused by this underlying condition.

I am sure Jan would want people to donate to such a worthwhile charity to raise awareness and help fund research for people with Hughes Syndrome in the future..

Thank you in advance for your support.
