Story
17th October 2007
Well the Trek has been completed. I cannot believe that all the planning and training is over and I was able to realise my challenge. It was very hard much harder that I could have imagined but I did it and I am ELATED and very proud. I I will never forget the beauty of Peru, the support of my fellow trekkers, Charlotte Jo Katy Mark and Roger from Skyline and the wonderful Peruvian guides who looked after us with such tender loving care.
As you can see I have reached and passed my target! What an achievement. Thank you so very much everybody and I wish the next St Mark's adventurer all the best in the world. It is really worthwhile!
Thank you everybody who has made this venture possible and I am sure Simon Gabe will make excellent use of this money to further his research into Intestinal Failure. There is still time to make a contribution if you have not already done so and as always I will be so grateful to receive anything you can spare. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.
