The Stroke Association's London to Paris · 9 September 2010 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Hello my friends

I'm cycling to Paris in September.  It's going to take me 3 days and a whole load of malt loaf to cover the 240 miles (Sacre bleu!).  I'm told there maybe a couple of hills on the way.

I'm raising money for the Stroke Association, a fantastic charity who work hard to support stroke survivors.  Every year around 150,000 people across the UK have a stroke. Donating £20 will keep the Stroke Helpline open for an hour.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.  Thank you and au revoir!
