At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

They say at some point in your life you'll have to face someone you know (as a friend or a loved one) - with dementia; but sadly over time you may have no choice but to watch this condition gradually change their personality and the ability to be the person you once knew.

Stevie and I want to raise awareness about dementia and raise as much money as we can to help fund the research.  One day we hope there will be a treatment that will lead to a cure, so people can enjoy an elderly life to remember or for child to feel the love and comfort of a grandma or grandad (loved and adored) - to still recognise them.
