Thank you for visiting our fundraising page

Last update 15th February 2007 - We're Back!

A massive thank you everyine who has supported us & to those who came along to the after party - it really meant a lot to us both!

The challenge turned out to be a REAL CHALLENGE and we have gained a lot from doing it.  The group as a whole raised over £27,000 for charity and we all had a 'once in a lifetime experience'.

Thanks also to our sponsors - Cotswolds Outdoors Bournemouth, we had the right kit & we're that cold - well we survived anyway!

UK Survival:We have safely returned from the UK survival trip!  It was great, we learnt shelter building (at night), night navigation, fire making water collection & purification and lots more.  We even had to eat live worm things!!!!  Many thanks to Nigel & the staff at Intrepid Expeditions it was fab!

Now we have been kindly given some goggles, hats & mittens to borrow for the Arctic trip!  The ration packs have arrived with bivvy bags, roll mats & sleeping bags and it seems real all of a sudden!

THE BOWLATHON:

The Bowlathon was nonstop bowling boys v girls (the boys won) and raised a stack more cash, especially thanks to Steve for letting people at Bowlplex wax bits of him for charity.

THE SPARRATHON:

The Sparrathon also went really well - Thank you to Fordingbridge Lau Gar and everyone who took part & helped raise lots more money!

About the trip:

You'll all be pleased to hear, we will be earning your donations for The Anthony Nolan Trust by building our own shelters and snow holes (which we will sleep in), ice fishing, skiing, driving huskie sledges in upto -40 temperature and alot more exciting survival stuff!

We need to raise over £5000, £4000 of which by November 2006 and are therefore calling to you all to flex that plastic and donate now online - go on you know you want to!!!!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Anthony Nolan Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.  Love from Jayne and Martin xxxxxxx

PS: Don't worry Reef will be at home nice & snug!
