Some of you will no doubt not be aware of the extraordinary work that Ashgate Hospice does --  (and hopefully will never have cause to be aware) -- but Ashgate is a place that provides true comfort for people in need of end-of-life care.

For many, Ashgate is the alternative to going through an immensely difficult period of life on an underfunded NHS ward. Ashgate is a charity, and the funding that powers all of their attentiveness towards their residents relies on public awareness of the special work that Ashgate does, and of course, generosity from the 'aware ones' that can afford to give. 

The Donation process through JustGiving is pretty easy. The site says it won't sell your personal details (I'd hope not?) and obviously you can opt out of any unwanted emails or texts (ta GDPR). The money is going direct to Ashgate, no middlemen.
