Story
In April 2021, I stepped outside to try out running for the first time. 3km later and I'd not only survived, but running has become a fantastic way for me to regularly get some fresh air and clear my mind. I have been gradually building up my distance and have made the decision to give a marathon a go! I decided that if it was going to happen, I wanted it to be the London Marathon, and Phab have given me the incredible opportunity to run this year, whilst also raising some money for a fantastic charity.
Phab has had a link to my work for a number of years, and brings together disabled and non-disabled people of all ages to make more life together – with exciting and challenging holiday projects for disabled and disadvantaged children and young adults, wheelchair accessible holiday homes, and 140 Phab Clubs across England and Wales with 8,000 members. Thank you for supporting Phab and Phabkids – with your help we can make a real and lasting difference to the lives of so many more children, young people and adults with disabilities, to their families and to local communities.
