Success.........?

We arrived Saturday afternoon,signed our life away , donned our bright orange "Arthritis Research" tops and  before we knew it we were strapped into our harnesses and clipped onto a steel cable suspended from the top of "The Oval" stadium. With my feet standing on the balustrading (normally used to contain the cricket fans from falling onto their fellow supporters) all I had to do was leap and leap I did and to my relief I didn't get the "harness wedgey" I was warned about!!! The rest was plain sailing travelling at about 25mph towards the ground on the other side of the stadium. Luckily there were 2 break men stopping me from carrying on up into row Z. It was all over in a flash, but a good experience. We had our photos taken and retired to the Pavillion for a well deserved pint.
