Spectrum Kilimanjaro Challenge 2015 · 15 October 2015 to 20 October 2015 ·

The Steve Prescott Foundation was set up by a totally inspirational man Steve Prescott MBE. In 2006 he was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei a terminal cancer & sought out to raise funds for The Christie Hospital and the Rugby League Benevolent Fund. The SPF changes the lives of so many people.

Story

Wow thats it i have only gone and said YES to doing the Kilimanjaro challenge in October 2015 to help support the Steve Prescott Foundation.

This year I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro via the Marangu route in only 5 days. This is the fastest legal time you are allowed to climb the mountain, and it is NOT recommended, but as Steve Prescott said many times " A challenge isnt a challenge, unless its challenging"....

I, along with 36 others, will be climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, and playing a full game of rugby when we reach 5760m altitude. All of this on just 6 days. Setting a new "Guiness WORLD RECORD" for the worlds highest ever rugby game.

This is a challenge i just cannot wait for its the biggest challenge for me so far and to say I've done it will just be fantastic and to get it ticked of my bucket list.

Alongside this event we will be doing lots of team bonding training events together and to raise our monies, i will be taking part in the St Helens 10k, and the St helens Full Triathlon which included ( 1mile swim in open water, 25 mile bike & 10k run) on the 13th of September if anybody wishes to come and support me...

I am looking to raise £4500 for the Steve Prescott Foundation.

Thanks for visiting
