Story

Dear all

On 10th July 2016, I am going to embark on the scariest thing I will have ever done and do a tandem skydive from 13,000ft in the air. As you will all know, my biggest fear is wind and - let's face it - it is going to be extremely windy up there!!

I am pushing myself to do this in order to raise money for the Isabel Hospice. They helped, supported and cared for my Gran and my family in 2013 when my Gran was very unwell with Lung Cancer. We had carers that came and stayed in our home throughout the night which allowed Gran to remain at home with her family whilst being properly looked after. Gran fought long and hard and her last few months were made easier for us all by the constant  time and devotion that Isabel Hospice provide to their patients and their families.

It would be a unbeliveable tragedy to lose such a fantastic charity which adapts its palliative care plans to suit each individual and their unique situation. They provide medical, emotional and psychological support to the patient and their family, throughout the individual's illness and after they have passed away.

Not a day goes by that I do not miss my Gran. Please donate whatever small amount you can so that the Isabel Hospice can continue to help other families, like they did mine. I don't know how we would have coped without them.

Thank you. Jen x
