Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Amber is a great charity that helps young people who haven't had a great start in life get back on track.  I should point out that I actually did this run on 1 July, but pleeeease don't let my lack of organisation stop you sponsoring me!   (The form wouldn't let me enter a date in the past)

It was very hard.  We had to stand around for ages, so my feet were already hurting before I started running (so much for those new trainers...) After 3km I wasn't feeling terribly optomistic, but we kept going out of stubbornness.  After 8km I had to keep running.  My feet were REALLY not happy by this point.  I hit a little wall by 9km, but we kept running.  In the end I was really pleased to have run the whole way in 1 hour 13 minutes and 47 seconds.  Beating my target by 1 minute and 13 seconds.  HOORAH!!!

Then we went to the pub for pizza and beer.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Amber Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
