Chester Half Marathon · 7 April 2009

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

We did it!! Despite horizontal sleet and rain on the hardest part of the course we finished the 13.1 miles all under two and a half hours. A real achievment and it's fantastic to see the sponsorship still coming in, thanks to all who are supporting us and the Alzheimers Society.

Looking forward to doing it all again next year!

Only a few days to go before Tracy, Cos, Mel, Shona, Roz and I tackle the Chester Half Marathon. I'm really pleased to have hit my fundraising target so I've upped it!

Thanks to everyone so far who have sponsored me and thanks to all those on the day who will be supporting us along the route and most importantly joining us in Telfords afterwards to celebrate! Jess xx

Hello,

We're running the Shell Chester Half Marathon again on 17th May 2009 (never throught that would be said that after last years attempt!) and we've been training hard for the last few months. This year we am raising money for the Alzheimers Society which is really important to us and we hope you will be able to support us and in turn all those affected by dementia and alzheimers. Jess' brother Joe and his girlfriend Caz are raising money for the same cause when they do the Great North Run in September.

Thank you for supporting us.

Love, Jess, Shona and Rozxxxx
