We help the babies, children and young people treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow. We fund medical equipment, research, play programmes and family support services to ensure that our young patients receive the best possible care and experience.

Story

I'm Jess, and I'm gonna be shaving my head on the 11th April.

On April 8th 1999 I got burnt when my dress caught fire. I was in hospital for two moths and needed several operations to repair my injuries and intensive physiotherapy to enable me to walk again.

The care I received at Yorkhill exceeded all of my and my family's expectations. All the nurses and doctors were so kind, helpful and supportive and always tried their best to make the situation as stress-free as possible for me. Thanks to the unbelievably amazing staff I made a full recovery and even after all this time I still I cannot thank them enough. I want to raise money so that someone who needs help as much as I did can get the same amazing treatment and support as I did.

Yorkhill Children's Charity gives treatment and care to pregnant mothers, newborns and children. The majority of their income is made from donations and all the money you donate will go straight to Yorkhill Children's Charity, so please donate as much as you can, even if it's only a few pounds. This means so much to me and will also without a doubt mean the world to those who benefit from your help.

Thankyou to everyone who donates x
