Pancreatic Cancer Action is the only UK charity dedicated to saving lives through early diagnosis. Pancreatic cancer is the 5th biggest cancer killer and the 10th most common cancer in the UK. Your support means we can continue to raise awareness of the symptoms to ensure early diagnosis.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are completing the Three Peaks Challenge on the 14th May 2016, starting at 6am. The challenge consists of climbing the three highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland in a 24 hour time scale. The three mountains are Ben Nevis, Scotland (1344m), Scafell Pike, England (978m) and Snowdon, Wales (1085m). Our two drivers Kym and Cerys will transport us between mountains to allow us to complete the challenge in the 24 hour period.

Pancreatic Cancer Action is a charity that means a lot to us having affected a close friends family. Unfortunately pancreatic cancer only receives 1% of cancer research funding, despite being the fifth largest cause of cancer death in the UK. We would like to highlight the inequality in funding for pancreatic cancer and help recognition for this amazing charity.
