Story

On 23 September 2023, I and a group of colleagues from Berkeley Group head office and Berkeley Group IT will be taking on the "Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge" to raise money for our charity partner, Surrey Young Carers.

We will be taking on the three peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in under 12 hours. With a total walking distance of 39.2km (24.5 miles) and over 1,600m of ascent, this is not going to be easy!

But it's for a great cause...

There are 115,000 unpaid carers in Surrey, each looking after someone who couldn't manage without them. Caring can be extremely isolating and can take its toll - it can affect all aspects of life. But Surrey Young Carers provide support by phone, through face-to-face meetings, support groups and workshops. They help with benefits advice, and advocacy, give practical help and provide a wealth of information and free events.

Please help me to help them, by giving what you are able to.

Thank you.
