Savills London to Oxford bike ride · 13 September 2009

Honeypot’s vision is for every child to make the most of their one chance at childhood. Since 1996 we have been working to enhance the lives of vulnerable children and young carers aged 5-12 years by providing residential respite breaks and on-going outreach support.

Story

I am riding 62 miles from London to Oxford in aid of the Honeypot Charity.

Honeypot provides breaks for vulnerable children and young carers allowing many of these children their one chance of childhood. These children are often living on or below the poverty-line and caring for a loved one who is often dependent on their support 24/7. Honeypot offers these children yearly breaks and three annual out-reach visits from the age of 5-12 consistently, enabling them to have support throughout their formative years.
