Newcastle Hospitals Charity is the official Charity of Newcastle Hospitals. Home of the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and the Great North Children's Hospital, we help our hospitals go further by making a positive difference for our patients, staff and communities.

Story

We are hoping to raise some money which will be donated to the Richardson Eating Disorder Service (REDS) at the RVI Newcastle. The unit has supported our family in so many ways and myself, John and Molly want to give something back.

REDS is a specialist tertiary service, located in Newcastle upon Tyne, providing comprehensive assessment and treatment for adults with moderate and severe eating disorders in North East England. The Richardson Eating Disorder Service provides care for patients over the age of 18 suffering from Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (EDNOS) which are moderate and severe in nature.

They provide support to not only those suffering with an eating disorder but also their families, helping them to better understand the condition and provide them with advice on how to help those suffering and how to cope themselves. It's a really important service and your donations will be going to a really worthwhile cause.

Thank you
