Vision Action aim to make eye care accessible and affordable overseas. We help the world to see through innovative programmes that reach out to some of the most remote communities throughout Africa. We began in 1989 and will continue until everyone across Africa has access to basic eye care.

At Specsavers Forfar we're doing a 56 mile walk on a treadmill for Vision Aid Overseas. The event will take place between Monday 24th October and Monday 31st October.

We're supporting Specsavers National Campaign to raise £300,000 to fund vision centres and support community eyecare services through out Zambia.

Why 56 miles?

A patient needing eyecare will have to walk an average of 56 miles to a Vision Aid Overseas clinic - which can take several days.
