Jill ..... As most of you know i am doing the Preston Guild half marathon with my friend Cheryl in aid of Bolton Hospice. Those of you who know me well will know Bolton Hospice is where my dad spent his last few weeks before losing his battle with prostate cancer. Throughout his illness particularly his last few months the Hospice was one of the places that he felt cared for and respected, and with your help i would like to raise as much as possible to help Bolton Hospice, who this year will be celebrating their 20th year.

With 6 months to race day and being totally new to running i have set out a training plan as i am determined to get myself fit enough to complete and not let anyone down. I have a few things planned for my friends & work collegues to get involved in and hope you will support :)

Cheryl..... Hi everyone :) thanks for visiting our page, i have decided to run the Preston Guild half marathon this year in aid of Bolton Hospice, its a wonderful place that does amazing work. As with most of us, i too have a personal connection with the Hospice, my mum has been battling cancer and is now , a couple of years on is in remission and doing well , also a very dear friend Judith sadly lost her battle at the Hospice. I will be training very hard and hope along with Jill we can raise as much as possible for the hospice. Mum & Judith, this ones for you!! xx

The race date is 28/10/2012 and would love to see the usual suspects there to support. :)
