For those that don't know much about Leukemia, it is a horrid little silent critter that tries to kill you from the inside out. 5 of the 137 Leukemia conditions account for nearly 70% of the lives lost due to blood cancer. One of those is Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML), which is the condition Jim is fighting at the moment.

BLOODWISE is a charity which focuses its research on these five conditions, to develop treatments to save as many lives as possible. Obviously the more BLOODWISE can invest, the more they can research developments and treatments, so the more lives they can save... As well as the more support they can give to those who need it most.

We will be holding fundraising events throughout the year, both online and offline campaigns and hoping to take part in one of Bloodwises challenges in September... But we will keep you updated with how we are doing and what we have planned!
