Fundraising for Derian House Children's Hospice
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Back in 2012, I decided to try start raising money in memory of my friends son who sadly died at a very early age. I promised myself that each year, I would try to spend some of my personal time to raise money for children who need that extra support.
Over that 5 years, we have cycled and walked miles upon mile. But as well as having lots of fun along the way, we have managed to raise over £38,000, which is amazing. This is due to people digging deep into their pockets and supporting amazing charities.
So this year we are trying our very best to reach £50,000 which would be amazing and beyond anything we could have dreamt of back in 2012 when 50 people cycled 60 miles from Skipton to Chorley.
After the success of Santas Jingle All The Way in 2016, we have decided to do it all again in 2017.
So ladies, gents, boys and girls welcome to Santas Jingle All The Way II.
Santas Jingle All The Way 2 will be a sponsored walk of approx 15 miles going from Chorley to the top of Rivington Pike and back to Chorley dressed in Santa Outfits.
The aim is that we will have a fun filled day, with lots of Ho Ho Ho's, lots of Jingles from all the Santa taking part.
We will be raising money for Derian House again this year and wiil be raising as much money as possible, but one of the main objectives is to get as many people as possible involved and to have fun all the way to the top and back again.
It is great to see people helping make a difference, SO GET OUT OF BED and GET DRESSED IN RED and be the one that MAKES A DIFFERENCE.
I am sure anyone who has taken part previously, will agree that everyone enjoys the day whatever the challenge has been and more importantly whatever the weather brings.
