My brother-in-law Derek was diagnosed with a blood cancer over 4 years ago. Now 48, he has survived two stem cell treatments and numerous 'new drugs' just coming onto the market to help his multiple miloma. I hate running and struggle to breathe but am doing this run to help generate more money for the amazing research that is buying Derek some time and some quality of life. MacMillan have been great advisers for how he can help his wife Diane and 20 year old son Jordan as well as just cope with the agony of living and what will come to pass.
