In April 2011 I am taking part in a horse trek across Jordan, in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. The trek will involve 5 days of riding, for 5-6 hours approximately 30km a day, across the desert. Conditions will be pretty basic, extremely hot during the day and darn cold in our tents at night.

 

I have a minimum sponsorship target of £3000, which I will raise in a variety of ways, from direct sponsorship, to fundraising events, raffles and sales of hand crafted goods .Thank you so much to everyone who has been helping to organize events and those of you who have donated already, I’ve got a long way to go and your support is very encouraging.

Please will you support me by giving as generously as possible?  I know that a horse trek through Jordan does not seem much of a challenge however I’ve only been riding for a few years and the going will be tough. More importantly I intend to cover all my costs and therefore every penny I raise will go straight to Marie Curie.
