On the 8th September 2013 I am taking part in Run to the Beat half marathon in Greenwich Park.

I am running in this event in memory of my grandparents and to help raise money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.

Sadly both my grandparents passed away three years ago. My Nan had fought a courageous fight against a chronic battle with Leukaemia.

I know both my grandparents would be extremely proud of me raising money for this charity and completing this event. They were both very much young at heart and active and my Grandad especially loved his sport.
