I am part of a team of 8 mad middle aged women walking 100km from London to Brighton on May 12th/13th. We are raising funds for a great charity called International Needs (www.ineeds.org.uk). International Needs is a christian development organisation which seeks to help people live full and dignified lives, free from poverty and persecution, through education, healthcare and anti-slavery initiatives.

We are raising funds for a specific trip this June to Ghana which will send medical staff from the UK to provide much needed medical care especially to women and children.  My friend Mandy Stubbs is one of the team, she is a paediatric nurse. She will also be taking part in the walk to Brighton.  

Any donation you can spare would be warmly appreciated and will keep me going during the long and hopefully not too painful walk.
