Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
After getting cramp three times and then crying at the end of the 2012 London Marathon, I've decided that I want to do it again. What's more, having missed the opportunity last year, I've also taken the chance to add a Three Peaks Challenge on to the agenda.
On April 26th, I'll be trawling my gangly legs around this fine city in an attempt to set a new PB. Subject to making a full physical and emotional recovery, in early June I'll join a group attempting to complete the Three Peaks Challenge - climbing the UK's three highest mountains (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon) within a 24 hour window.
I'll be running/climbing/scrambling/weeping in aid of Plan International, a fantastic charity that do great work making life better for some of the World's poorest children. My employers, PERFORM Group, have partnered with Plan on a 3-year project in India, offering support, funding and advertising to help set up a series of initiatives across India which promote sports for children. The initiative will develop a number of sports resources across urban and rural areas in a number of districts of Andhra Pradesh, a major rice producing area situated on the south east coast of the country. This will include playing fields, equipment and training staff with the objective of getting marginalised children involved in sport to give them the right to play, to promote inclusion and encourage them to access and complete their education.

I'm hoping my efforts will contribute £2,500 to add to the £250,000 investment made by PERFORM, and I'd very much appreciate your help in getting me there
